About the Mavs
The Dallas Mavericks (known as the “Mavs”) are the NBA professional basketball team of DFW. Playing throughout their active season at the world-class American Airlines Center near the heart of downtown Dallas, the Mavs offer action-packed fun for the entire family. Having won several division titles, including their NBA championship win during the 2010-2011 season, the Mavs create excitement for all those in attendance. The Mavs play October through April.
